Owning our profession - joint ATL and NUT eventĀ

ATL and NUT will be holding an event in Manchester on 28 February to explore how education professionals can work together to strengthen your voice in the run-up to May's general election and beyond. Find out more and book your place.

In a fast-changing world, how should a curriculum and assessment system enable all learners to achieve?

On 11 February we are holding the fourth of our pre-election debates about key education issues, this time around curriculum. Our panel will question whether in the rush to push through its untested reforms the Government is at risk of creating havoc for students, teachers, schools and universities with confusion over grades?

Meeting the learning needs of future generations - is CPD for teachers an entitlement, requirement, necessity or just a distant dream?

On 27 January we are holding the third of our pre-election debates about key education issues, this time around professionalism in education. Our panel will be asking questions about the role of CPD in teachers' working lives.

Support staff conferences 2015

ATL's first ever support staff conference was a great success in 2014. That's why we have doubled the number of support staff conferences for 2015, and arranged an even more interesting and varied agenda. Find out more and book.

Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire free training

ATL is working with Bilborough College to present an afternoon of high-quality CPD training on 25 February. Funded by Unionlearn, the workshops are free and open to all FE, secondary and sixth form college staff in Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire.
