And find out why ATL is the fastest growing union in the education sector

NQ/probationer members can benefit from the following subscriptions offer:
FREE membership to the end of the calendar year in which you qualify
FREE membership for the whole of the following calendar year, if you agree to pay your future membership subscriptions by direct debit*
1/2 PRICE membership for the subsequent year.
Therefore, as a new teacher or lecturer qualifying in 2010, you would not have to pay full ATL subscriptions until 2013.
* If you decide not to pay by direct debit you will still get FREE subscriptions for the calendar year in which you qualify followed by a 50% subscriptions offer for you first two full calendar years of teaching.
In 2010, the 50% membership rate is:
| Single payment by direct debit* | Monthly payment by direct debit** | Single payment by cheque or debit/credit card |
| Working 3 to 5 days a week (0.6 timetable or more, or a two-term contract) | ||
| £80.50 | £7.00 a month | £84.00 |
| Working less than 3 days a week (less than 0.6 timetable***) | ||
| £43.50 | £3.75 a month | £45.00 |
* Single annual payment by direct debit is the cheapest option
** Direct debits are collected over a maximum of 12 months, subject to the month of joining. Example instalment schedule shown - you will be advised of your instalment schedule following enrolment and prior to any direct debit payments being collected. Total payment is equal to single annual payment by cheque or debit/credit card
*** Includes short-term contracts - one term full-time or two terms part-time.
If you qualified before 1 April 2010 please contact us for other competitive membership rates available.
