ATL's range of annual subscription rates for new members represents great value for money, no matter what type of membership you require.
New to ATL? Select the category that best applies to you:Student membership - for all student teachers and lecturers
Standard newly qualified/probationer membership - for all new teachers and lecturers
Standard teacher/lecturer membership - for all other teachers and lecturers, including supply teachers
AMiE membership - for headteachers, principals and other senior leaders who are not already members of ATL
Standard support membership - for support staff with a classroom role and direct contact with students
Affiliate membership - for support staff in education who don't have direct contact with students
Group affiliate membership - for members of the Exam Officers Association, National Association of School Business Management and Independent Schools Bursars' Association.

Members may be able to claim income tax relief on nine-tenths of their annual subscription, provided it is paid from earned income. For more information, please see claiming tax relief on your ATL subscriptions.
You should ensure that your membership is correct and fully up to date in order to access the full range of ATL benefits for members.
As with any other union, ATL is unable to offer representation or assistance (including legal advice) with problems that arose before you joined. Prospective members should declare any such problems in a letter with their application form.
