Making the ATL website your homepage
How do I make the ATL website my homepage?
Why not make the ATL website your homepage, so you never miss out on all the news in education? Follow the instructions below.
Users of Internet Explorer 5+
- Using the menu bar at the top of the screen select ‘Internet Options’ - this will be either in the ‘View’ or ‘Tools’ menu.
- Under the General tab you will see a box at the top where you can enter a URL.
- Type in the ATL website address - http://www.atl.org.uk/ - as your homepage. Then click ‘OK’ (if you are on the ATL website when you open this window, you can just press the ‘Use Current’ key).
Users of Internet Explorer 4+
- On the main menu click ‘View’ then select ‘Internet Options’.
- Select ‘Homepage’ from the category list.
- Type ATL’s URL - http://www.atl.org.uk/
Users of Netscape Navigator 4+
- On the main menu click ‘Edit’ then select ‘Preferences’.
- Select ‘Navigator’ from the category list.
- Type ATL’s URL - http://www.atl.org.uk/ - as your homepage.
Users of Netscape Navigator 2+
- On the main menu click ‘Options’ then select ‘General Preferences’.
- Select ‘Navigator’ from the category list.
- Type ATL’s URL - http://www.atl.org.uk/ - as your homepage.
Netscape Navigator for Apple Macintosh
- On the main menu click ‘Edit’ then select ‘Preferences’.
- Select ‘Navigator’ from the category list.
- Type in ATL’s URL - http://www.atl.org.uk/ - as your homepage.
Users of Internet Explorer for Apple Macintosh
- On the main menu click ‘Edit’ then select ‘Preferences’.
- Select web browser from the category list followed by ‘home/search’.
- Type ATL’s URL - http://www.atl.org.uk/ - as your homepage.
