Problems with ordering resources
I’m an ATL member. How do I order publications, newsletters or recruitment materials?
To order or download a resource from the ATL website you need to login as an ATL member. Then you simply click on the resource you want and choose either the ‘Download’ or ‘Add a hardcopy to shopping basket’ option.
If you have asked for a download, then a PDF file of the resource will open up. You can then print this off, or save it to your computer.
If you have asked to add a printed copy of the resource to your shopping basket, you will see your publication added under ‘Shopping basket’ on the left hand side of the screen. You can add as many publications, newsletters and recruitment materials to your shopping basket as you like.
Once you’ve ordered all the publications you want, you then just click ‘Proceed to checkout’ in the shopping basket box on the left hand side of the screen. You’ll then be taken to the ‘Members’ checkout’. This will detail the publications you have ordered and confirm that you will not be charged for your order.
You should then fill in the form as completely as you can and click ‘Submit request’.
Please note that if a publication has sold out, you will not be able to order a hard copy. If this is the case, you will therefore just be given one option – to download a PDF version.
I’m not a member of ATL. How do I buy a publication?
If you are not a member of ATL, you can purchase a publication by navigating to the publication you want and clicking either ‘Add a copy of this publication to shopping basket’ or ‘Add this publication for download to shopping basket’.
You will see your publication added under ‘Shopping basket’ on the left hand side of the screen. Once you’ve ordered all the publications you want, you then just click ‘Proceed to checkout’ in the shopping basket box on the left hand side of the screen. You’ll be taken to a secure form. This will detail the publications you have ordered and confirm the cost of your order.
You will be able to pay for your order with a credit card. You should then fill in the form as completely as you can and click ‘Send payment’.
If you requested a hardcopy of a publication, this will be despatched to you within 28 days. If you requested a download, this will be e-mailed to your e-mail address as a PDF file for you to print off or save on your computer.
Please note that if a publication has sold out, you will not be able to order a hard copy. If this is the case, you will therefore just be given one option – to download a PDF version.
If you do not wish to pay for your publication by credit card, then please write to ATL, PO BOX 189, Redhill, Surrey RH1 3YX with a cheque for the full amount made out to ‘ATL’. Please include the publication/s you want to order and your name and postal address.
ATL does not issue refunds for publications purchased.
