Pupil pens GCSE self-help book

Pupil pens GCSE self-help book

One 16-year-old pupil has decided to pass on some GCSE wisdom by penning a self-help book for students currently going through the process.

Robert Blakey's 'How to Achieve 100 per cent in a GCSE' is designed to help pupils get the most out of their GCSE exam experience and was written during the summer holidays as the author awaited his own results.

Lorna Read, Editor at Writing Ltd, said: "I wish the book had been around years ago when I was doing my O- and A-Levels. Rob makes some excellent points and the book is full of good sense."

Robert's book provides practical tips for pupils on revision techniques and exam preparation, arranged by subject.

The idea was conceived as Robert revised for his own GCSEs, as he found there were many texts describing what to study, but none detailing how to go about it.

Solihull School, West Midlands, is an independent school for pupils aged seven to 18.
