And find out why ATL is the fastest growing union in the education sector

Make sure your views on education are heard at national level by volunteering for co-option to an ATL committee for the two-year committee cycle beginning in September.
The vacancies available for standard members to be co-opted onto committees are shown below with the number of places, the normal meeting day and the number of meetings per year. These positions are voluntary, but expenses, including travel and subsistence costs, will be reimbursed.
Defence Committee - Saturday, four places, six meetings.
Equalities Advisory Committee - Saturday, three places, three meetings.
Member Communications, Benefits and Training Review Committee - Friday, four places, four meetings.
Rules and Procedures Committee - Friday, two places, nine meetings.
Further details of the remits of these committees and a short application form can be downloaded using the links on the right or obtained from Anne Powell at ATL's London office. The deadline for return of application forms is 18 June 2010. For the Defence Committee, the support of the branch is needed before you can be considered.
