The Workload Agreement Monitoring Group (WAMG) consists of representatives of teaching unions and government. It was created to oversee the implementation of the Workload Agreement.
WAMG produces notes which give information and advice to schools and colleges on implementation and key issues to do with workload, such as PPA time and cover.

WAMG Note 25: local social partnership priorities. This note sets out the main priorities identified for consideration by local social partnerships over the next 12 months. It builds on the commitment, referenced in Note 18, to maintain an ongoing dialogue with local social partnerships.WAMG Note 24: threshold and performance management for teachers in England from September 2009. This is a further note on revised threshold arrangements that confirms the guidance recently sent by email to schools from the DCSF.
WAMG note 23: threshold and performance management in England from September 2009 - change in timescale for assessment applications. This details an extension of the date by which teachers in England can submit applications for post threshold assessment, in order to properly align the performance management and threshold cycles.
WAMG note 22: the appropriate deployment of support staff in schools. This contains advice and guidance to schools and local authorities regarding the appropriate deployment of support staff in schools
WAMG note 21: threshold and performance management from 2009. This outlines changes to threshold arrangements from September 2009, and the way in which performance management will become the evidence base used to inform the headteacher's assessment and decision.
WAMG note 20: effective operation of local social partnerships. This outlines a number of initiatives undertaken by WAMG in response to feedback of members, as follows; further guidance on effective working, a model remit and protocol, and framework process for issue resolution.
WAMG note 19: upating local social partnerships on the programme and priorities. This provides an update on WAMG work programme priorities, which were originally established in April 2006 through WAMG Note 15. WAMG committed to provide this update in Note 18.
WAMG note 18: supporting local social partnership and sustainable reform. This contains key feedback from the national local social partnership (LSP) conferences and proposed actions by WAMG and recommended actions for LSPs in response to issues raised.
