UnionLearn

UnionLearn is the learning and skills organisation of the TUC. UnionLearn works to assist unions in the delivery of learning opportunities for their members as well as managing the £15 million union learning fund (ULF).

Unionlearn is responsible for providing education and training opportunities for workplace reps and professionals via TUC Education.

The Union Learning Fund was set up but the government in 1998 to promote activity in unions to support their objective of creating a learning society.

At ATL we have been part of the Union learning fund for 7 years and have supported thousands of ATL members in accessing learning opportunities, developing professionally and personally and finding out how and what they could learn. We were awarded the quality award for progression and professional development from UnionLearn in 2010.

For members, learning reps and workplace reps UnionLearn can help you on a regional and national level. They provide information, advice and guidance along with a range of courses and reps forums.
