Strategic and operational management (online)
This course is provided by Caroline Holmes. This online course will consider strategy and leadership. It will examine the challenge of leadership with vision and look at the transition from operational management to strategic leadership. By the end of the course you will understand what type of leader you are, how you want to lead and what you need to do to take those you lead with you. The course will include some written tasks, involvement in discussion forums and the opportunity to talk to other leaders and potential leaders about their work and workplaces.
Online course programme:
- understanding strategic leadership tools and exploring values and leadership
- developing reflective leadership skills
- vision and planning.
This is an online course and will require a time commitment of approximately three hours per week plus additional reading time of two hours per week. This course can be taken with one face-to-face course and one other online leadership course.
