Workplace reps - academies

ATL is launching a new training course designed to support reps working in academies. By taking part in our reps training, you will build up a strong network of contacts and could even encounter career opportunities you hadn't previously considered. You'll be playing a key role in ensuring that ATL is an effective and influential voice in your academy.

If you are unable to attend this course, you can attend ATL's three-stage course for reps.

Knowledge

The ATL academy reps' course will allow you to:

• understand the role, rights and responsibilities of an ATL rep

• know how to access the support mechanisms available to you

• understand how workplace issues link to organising and
  recruitment

• develop your communication and negotiating skills.

The course is free to ATL workplace reps, and any meals, travel expenses and accommodation needs are paid for by ATL.
