ATL comment on the appointment of the new Chair of the School Teachers' Review Body

Mary Bousted, general secretary of the Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL), said:
"ATL congratulates Dame Patricia Hodgson DBE on her appointment as chair of the School Teachers' Review Body (STRB) and looks forward to working with her in the near future. In these difficult economic times, we know that our members recognise the independence and integrity of the STRB and they value the fact that the STRB understands the importance of education to the future of young people in this country."
