Maintained sector pay scales
Pay scales for teachers working in maintained schools across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales can be viewed from this page.
Pay scales have been announced for September 2009 and September 2010 for teachers in England and Wales. They are available on the links below.
Please note that these pay scales remain provisional until the end of the consultation period on 5 August 2009.
Part-time teachers in maintained schools will be paid according to the same scales but should view ATL's advice on how part-time payments are calculated.
If you are a supply teacher you may also be paid according to the scales below, and should view ATL's advice on pay for supply teachers.
