Come to ATL's Conference

If you're interested in meeting other education professionals and care about discussing and furthering education issues, then Conference is a good place to start.

ATL's Conference takes place annually. Up to 600 members gather to discuss and vote on key education and employment issues, which then sets ATL's policy for the following year. In addition to the Conference hall proceedings, lots of other activities take place, from workshops and training sessions to seminars and exhibitions, not to mention the Conference dinner.

The number of representatives each branch can send to Conference depends on how many members it has so, if you are interested in finding out more, speak to your local branch secretary (you can find information about your local branch by using the 'find my branch' drop-down menu on the bottom right of the home page).

To build on the number of new education professionals attending Conference, ATL also reserves 20 places for student members and newly qualified members of ATL. See our new2teaching website for more information.
