The Trades Union Congress 2009 is taking place in Liverpool from 14 - 17 September.
Over 700 trade union members are attending the 141st annual Congress. A host of leading trade unionists are speaking, as well as key government figures including Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families, Ed Balls and Ed Miliband, Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change.
Debate will cover the economy, minimum wage, campaigning against the BNP, equal rights, global solidarity, the economy and public sector funding. Further details about Congress can be found on the TUC website.
ATL's activities at Congress 2009 are largely focused on raising the profile of its work on bonus culture, Do heads deserve a bonus round?. The Association has tabled a motion on the issue.
