ATL in the further education sector
ATL is the only recognised union that represents all staff in schools, sixth forms and further education colleges across the UK, giving us a great range of expertise across all sectors. We also have many members in our leadership section, AMiE, which further extends our influence on pay and conditions in the FE sector.
ATL believes in the ethos of high quality teaching and learning. As a modern trade union, we recognise the importance to our members of professional development. That is why we offer accredited training and CPD opportunities, from one-day training courses up to Masters level.
