How to join ATL

It's easy to become a member of ATL - join now to take advantage of some amazing subscription offers!

  • If you are a teacher, supply teacher or lecturer, join ATL as a standard member and pay only half the full standard subscription rate, plus reduced rates if you are employed part time.

  • If you are a leader or manager in a school or college, join AMiE, ATL's leadership section, as a standard member and pay only half the full standard subscription rate, plus reduced rates if you are employed part-time.

  • Lower membership rates for support staff - pay only £9 per month or less if you're part time.

  • If you qualify as an NQ/probationer in 2012, join us today and get FREE membership until 2014 and half-price membership until 2015.

  • And if you're a student, it's also free!

Online

You can apply to join ATL online - the application process takes just a few minutes and you can set up a Direct Debit or pay with your credit card. Just go to the secure online joining form.

By telephone

Call the 'Join ATL' hotline on tel: 0845 057 7000 (lo-call) to join over the phone or 01858 411541 to join AMiE, ATL's leadership section.

By post or fax

You can join by post or fax if you complete an application form - print out and complete the appropriate membership application form from the list on the right-hand side of this page, returning it to: Association of Teachers and Lecturers, FREEPOST 7363, 7 Northumberland Street, London WC2N 5BR or faxing it to 020 7930 1359.
