Promoting Positive Mental Health in Primary and Early Years Settings

Drawing on perspectives offered by neuroscience, psychology and child development, the course aims to enable participants to feel more competent and confident in supporting parents and carers to promote good mental health and in recognising and addressing social and emotional needs in the children they work with.

Half day workshops on ADHD (Attention deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), Dyslexia, Dyscalculia. Delegates have the option to attend a half day or full day and pick one or two disorders to focus on in more detail.

This is an introductory course for all ATL / AMiE health and safety reps and will help you develop the skills, knowledge and confidence you need to perform this essential role in your workplace. The course runs over three terms, with one day/stage per term.
