ATL currently employs around 200 members of staff to give support, advice and information to our 170,000 members.

The majority of staff work from the London office and we also have offices in Belfast, Cardiff and Market Harborough to support the growing number of members in these areas.

ATL also employs staff across the UK to oversee members' case work and to promote the recruitment and organising of members.

Current vacancies

  • Role: Regional official (Eastern region)
  • Location: Home based Eastern Region (Northamptonshire, Essex, Southend, Thurrock, Norfolk, Suffolk)
  • Contract: Fixed term 3-month contract, with a possibility to extend 
  • Full time: 35 hours per week
  • Salary: £44,105 pa + good benefits  

This post is to provide cover for a 3-month fixed term period, with a possibility to extend. Ideally with an immediate start in our Eastern region. The role is home-based and the role holder is expected to reside within the region, and specifically in one of the areas above. I regret that we are not able to offer relocation expenses.
